This month, we’re featuring two standout team members: Karlie, our General Manager, and Ella, one of our talented Landscape Designers.
Karlie has been a driving force at Brookes Blooms for over a decade. As General Manager, she’s played a crucial role in building a workplace where people—especially women—are empowered to grow, lead, and innovate. Her dedication to nurturing a positive, inclusive culture has helped shape countless career paths within our team and across the industry.
Ella’s journey is one of grit and growth. Starting as an apprentice, she has blossomed into a skilled Landscape Designer with a keen eye for sustainable design and plant selection. Her hard work and passion recently earned her a spot as a finalist for Apprentice of the Year in recognition of her horticultural excellence. Ella represents the next generation of landscape leaders—creative, curious, and committed to making a difference.
Together, Karlie and Ella embody what the Women’s Project is all about: creating pathways, breaking barriers, and inspiring the future of landscaping.
