There is immense satisfaction in creating a kaleidoscope of colour which melds together into a comprehensive whole. To express yourself in terms of your basest human instinct. Most of all the garden is sustainable. In a world in which urbanisation threatens to overrun us, the garden brings us back to nature. It creates a home for wildlife, nourishment for the soil, oxygen for the air, food, and shelter. The garden has an immeasurable impact on the wellbeing of humankind and the planet. It creates a way to pull us back from the neon lights and filtered air of the civilised world – to put fresh air in our lungs and to invigorate our souls.
