I LOVE Christmas! But surely, I'm not the only one sitting here wondering where the year has gone! It feels as though I've blinked and January has quickly become December.
With our news feeds filling up with Christmas trees and decorations, it's a not so subtle hint that if you haven't started your Christmas shopping yet - now would be the time.
Coming up with gift ideas can be hard and somewhat stressful. Plants are a great gift idea for Christmas however with so many to choose from, it can be a bit daunting which ones to get. So, to make it easier for you, I've put together a list of plants to suit everyone:
Indoor Flowering Plant: Orchid, Spathiphyllum
Outdoor Flowering Plant: Kangaroo Paw, Impatiens, Ornithogalum White Princess.
For the cook: Herbs such as Thyme, Parsley, Coriander, Basil, Rosemary…the list is endless. Or you could purchase some vegetable seeds to add to or start their vege patch.
For the green thumb: Bonsai Tree, Grevillea standards.
For the not-so-green thumb: Cactus or a Succulent. Jade plants are a great gift, said to bring you luck with Money.
For the citrus lover: Lemon or lime tree. A gift that will keep giving, citrus is not only used in the kitchen but can be used for cleaning and medicinal purposes also.
