Founder/Landscape Designer Brooke uses her 20+ years of garden industry experience to help you create the perfect outdoor space for your home or commercial property. Just like the plants she cares for, Brooke has nurtured and grown the team at Brooke’s Blooms to provide personalised garden services where every project is treated as unique. Horticulturalist/Landscape Supervisor Married to the big boss (that’d be Brooke), Troy brings more than 25 years experience in the construction industry to his role at Brooke’s Blooms. As the business grew Troy joined forces with Brooke to make a truly unstoppable team. Troy is a jack of all trades, a perfectionist and a soft-heart, willing to do anything for anyone. Team Manager/Landscape Gardener Christian served in the Australian Army as an infantry man, and now brings that same discipline to garden maintenance and landscaping projects. When he’s not gardening, Christian loves watching rugby league and getting outside with his two German shepherds. Horticulturalist/Landscape Gardener Joel’s role at Brooke’s Blooms is to create and maintain gardens to standards of excellence, and to guide others in the team to give their best. Joel’s idea of fun usually falls into one of four categories BCFG – boating, camping, fishing and gardening (of course!) Construction/Landscape Gardener Mat grew up watching Jamie Durie on Backyard Blitz and decided gardening was the career for him. He uses his Certificate 3 in Landscape Construction to keep projects running to schedule and make sure the team is getting the job done to the highest of standards. Horticulturalist/Landscape Gardener Ryan is a true outdoorsman. As a kid, Ryan developed a love of gardening helping his Grandpa dig around in his garden beds and tend to his plants. He’s a true team player and gives the best Secret Santa presents. Away from work, Ryan is a proud father, so that keeps him out of mischief (for now). Horticultural Apprentice/Landscape Gardener Nick loves installing and maintaining beautiful gardens, but the team does feel he can be a tad too cheerful in the mornings. He’s devoted to his dog, Memphis, who’s a bit of a couch potato, and loves getting away to camp by the beach. Landscape Gardener Herbert is our resident joker, bringing laughter to the workplace. But there’s nothing he takes more seriously than creating your dream garden. He loves the satisfaction that comes with transforming gardens into spaces that perfectly suit your lifestyle. Horticultural Apprentice/Landscape Gardener Jack’s always had a love for plants and gardening, so landscaping was a natural career choice. He treats every garden as if it were his own, aiming to achieve the highest possible standards on every single job. Horticulturist/Landscape Gardener A devoted environmentalist and talented horticulturist Lizzy, also known as Bethy, helps create harmonious, sustainable gardens for Brooke’s Blooms clients. On top of her diploma in horticulture, Lizzy is currently studying landscape architecture. And she’s been adding her magic to the Brooke’s Blooms team for 5 years. The key to Lizzy’s hippy heart is a good veggie burger or a trip to the op shop. Project Manager/Operations Assistant Karlie’s our resident agony aunt. She makes sure all projects are running to schedule and helps with quotes and garden designs. Karlie’s also an ironwoman triathlete, and her competitive spirit is known to come out from time to time. Of course, some elements of your garden require specialist skills. We’ve built a network of trusted suppliers and service providers including electricians, plumbers, nurseries, graphic designers and florists to ensure you get the best results. With one of Brisbane’s most experienced gardening and landscaping teams, we’re equipped to manage projects of all shapes and sizes.
